Quincy started our dream.

We decided we had to have a Bulldog. We had recently purchased a chocolate lab for
our children and by the time she passed her obedience class we were hooked on
showing!

Off we went to local dog shows, summoning up the courage to speak to breeders.
Many wonderful seasoned breeders like Walter Jensen, Wil and Virginia Schirmer,
Darlene Mc Neil, and Walter and Darlene Stuedemann were very patient and
answered our many questions.

Carolyn Workman had recently begun to show and we felt an instant bond to her
and her husband Phil.

We purchased our first Bulldog from them a few months later, and, tho’ we hoped
to make him a show dog, he was our house pet first.

We started showing K’s Quincy High Hopes at the St. Louis specialty at the age of 8
months. He finished his championship 3 months later on Father’s Day, 10 days
before he turned 1 year of age.
